    If a member dies 75 miles or more from home, the family calls 1-888-889-8508, day or night, before making any other arrangements.

  2. We take care of the details

    Inman Shipping Worldwide arranges a licensed funeral home near the place of death, preparation, the paperwork, and the shipping container.

  3. The member comes home

    We arrange transportation home to the member's local funeral home, so the family can hold the service they want.

  • Contacting a licensed funeral home or professional embalming service center near the place of death
  • Transporting the deceased from the place of death to the funeral home or service center for preparation
  • Preparation of the deceased for transport
  • Securing all documentation for shipping, including one death certificate
  • Placing the deceased in an appropriate shipping container
  • Arranging transportation home to their local funeral home

Two conditions

Call us first

Call 1-888-889-8508 before making any other arrangements. This makes sure the complete and legal process for transporting human remains is followed. The plan is not a reimbursement plan, so it cannot pay for arrangements someone else has already made.

Medical tourism is not included

The plan does not include medical tourism, meaning travel for the purpose of getting medical treatment.
